Data Security, Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

KUNJ Financial Consultants Private Limited (KFCPL) recognizes the expectations of its clients with regard to privacy, security and confidentiality of their personal information that resides with the company. Keeping personal information of our clientele secure and preventing any misuse thereof is a top priority of KFCPL.

In this Policy, personal information implies any information which relates to a person, which either directly or indirectly, or in combination with other information available or is likely to be available with the company, is capable of identifying such person.

Applicability

This Policy is applicable for personal information collected by KFCPL directly from the client or through the company’s online portals, electronic communications as well as any information collected from the client’s browser.

Information

KFCPL collects, retains and utilizes personal information only when it rationally believes that it is for a lawful purpose and when it will help administer its business or provide services to the client. The company collects two types of information: personal and non-personal.

Personal Information

Personal Information includes personal identity details such as name, addresses, passport number, Income, email addresses, details of nominees, PAN, project details, etc.

Non Personal Information

The name of the website that redirected the client to the KFCPL’s website, the IP address of the device used to connect to KFCPL’s website along with other information such as operating system used, browser details, etc. is included in Non Personal Information.

Accuracy

The company has processes in place to make sure that the personal information KFCPL has with itself is current, complete and accurate. If at any given point of time, a client feels that personal information residing with KFCPL is incorrect, the client may inform the company in this regard. KFCPL will correct the incorrect information as quickly as possible.

Usage and Purpose

KFCPL uses the information collected to:

• Understand the needs and provide relevant product and service offers
• Process applications, requests and transactions
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain internal records as per regulatory guidelines
• Provide services to clients, including responding to customer requests

Confidentiality

KFCPL does not sell, rent, disclose or lease any company’s/individual's personal information to third parties except as per mandate received from the client or as directed by law. No specific information about client account details or other personally identifiable data is shared with any other nonaffiliated third parties unless any of the following conditions is met:

• The client / applicant has specifically authorized it
• To help complete a transaction initiated by the client
• The disclosure is compulsory for compliance of a legal obligation

All information and data provided by client will be confidential and will strictly be the property of the client.

All raw data, directories, processed data, finalized product and printouts will solely be the property of the client.

KFCPL agrees that neither the company nor its employees will disclose any information or data about the project to any third party without any prior consent of the client.

KFCPL agrees that neither the company nor its employees will reproduce in any manner or divulge any tangible or intangible property whatsoever that could reasonably be construed as constituting confidential information of its client.

Data Security

The security of personal information is a priority of KFCPL and it is protected by maintaining physical, procedural and electronic safeguards that meet applicable laws. The company’s employees are trained in the proper handling of personal information. All KFCPL employees are bounded by strict non-disclosure and non-compete agreements:

• Entry of unauthorized persons into KFCPL’s premises is strictly prohibited.
• Document storage area is well protected.
• Each staff has his or her own password and access to his or her given computer/workstation is also restricted.

Notice of Change

KFCPL may, from time to time, change its Data Security, Confidentiality and Privacy Policy. If we decide to change our Policy, we would post those changes on our website so that our clients will always be aware of what information or data we collect and how we use it.
